I am one that has membersip to both Sams and Costco. Sams club has always had a few things I like so kept membership fo r most part. My membership expires in 3 days so this was last trip to get a few things. I will not renew, especially now after store closings. I have always wondered how they stay in business. Parking lot 10 - 15% as full Costco. Usually 2 or three checkouts open compared to 10 plus at Costco. If your second in line at Sams it's likke being 5th in line at Costco. Not near as friendly and much worse customer service. Easy choice to not renew. The only reason I went there was for about 3 - 5 things they had and Costco didn't. Definetely not even close to the same as Costco. I'll just keep the best.

Renewed my membership for Christmas baskets and things for office gifts. Negative is that their baskets are all alcohol or candy. Very lame. Years past they had cookie baskets, cheese and meats, tools, coffee and now only 2 choices. Not a real great selection of meats and the seafood is overpriced. To top it all off employees were literally being paid to watch a football game. Not just watching but yelling and screaming so loudly that it was heard from the back of the store. Will upload the video to show what employees are doing.

It seems to be a bit smaller than some other locations but perhaps that is because of how it is arranged. Our cashier never even spoke to us. Not "hello", not "thank you ". Nothing. Oh yes, he did tell us the total. That was it. The demonstrators were terrific and informative about their products. The line at the deli to get a hotdog or a slice of pizza was very long. It wound around into the area where people were leaving, making it difficult for people to maneuver their carts out the door. The fellow checking carts at the exit door didn't even look at people's receipts. Odd. All in all a clean store, though.
